How is Gipht different than most of the other gifting platforms which allow you to choose from a suite of gifts?

Based on feedback, we wanted to give the sender more control over the actual gift being sent. You can choose a gift from 1000s of online retailers, rather than give the giftee a curated choice of 100 or so gifts. So if you’d like to send a specific bottle of wine or specific box of chocolates, Gipht allows you to do that.

What is the cost to use the Gipht app?

It’s $5 per transaction.

How is estimated shipping calculated for the sender?

There is an estimated shipping value that the merchant sets.

Can I use a discount code with the Gipht app?

Yes, you can still use discount codes with the Gipht app.

Would the app work the same way on desktop vs phone?

The Gipht app is optimized for both desktop and mobile.

What happens if the recipient does not accept the gift?

A few things will happen if the recipient does not accept the gift or does not take any action

1. The recipient has 10 days to take action and accept the gift. A daily reminder is sent to prompt them to accept the gift
2. If the recipient does nothing or declines the gift, then the transaction is automatically refunded
3. You receive your refund for your gift purchase per the refund policies of the merchant

Can I send gifts in bulk (to multiple recipients) using Gipht?

Yes, you can either manually input a list of recipients with their email address or phone number, or upload a CSV file with the information. A Gipht order will be generated for each of the listed recipients. Please see How to Send Bulk Orders with Gipht for more details.

Do I get a bulk discount for sending to multiple recipients?

Yes, there is a tiered discount on transaction fees based on number of transactions.
