By default, the $5.00 (USD) Gipht service charge is passed on to the customer and they pay the fee when they place their order. Then the Gipht fees are paid to the Gipht App by the merchant, this can be seen on the Shopify billing statements. It is possible to modify the service charge so that the fee is paid in part or wholly by the merchant instead. Here’s how to do that:
From your Shopify Admin page, Find the “Gipht Service Fee” within your products and open the product editor.
Change the price to the desired amount. Note, the merchant will still be billed for the full amount ($5.00 USD) no matter what this price is set to for the customer. If this is set to $0.00 then the fee will not be passed to the customer at all.
